She currently serves as Minister of Worship at The Park Church Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte (North Carolina, USA). She has held this position for thirteen years overseeing the entire Worship Ministry which includes also the Music Ministry (praise & worship team, all choirs, musical components). She also serves as the Director of the Music & Arts at The Park Music Studio and as a catalyst for the forming of The Park Chamber Orchestra.
Graves is continually seeking knowledge to equip her to better serve God. She is currently studying as a candidate for the Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Critical and Creative Thinking from Notre Dame College of Ohio in South Euclid.
She is a called and anointed gospel musician. She uses her God-given gift to equip, empower and inspire. Graves’ anointed ability to minister to God and to God’s people through music has afforded her many prestigious appointments and guest appearances all over the world.
On July 4, 2000 she sang for the First Family of the United States. Graves has served in the capacity of workshop clinician and psalmist for many churches and organizations in USA and abroad. She was a founding partner and Director of Prevention Education for the Arts Educational Theatre Company of Cleveland. She also coordinated The Chorale Satellite Program.
