Coffee, concert, tamarind with spirits, liqueurs and food, live performances, theatre, music and other attractions. All of this is the Caffè della Caduta. Born in October 2011, it offers a wide bar area and a performance and workshop hall for 85 seats. The Caffè della Caduta is part of the Teatro della Caduta project (active since 2003) promoted by a group of young people. Now it counts on 12 productions, on more than 40 performances created inside of its space, and on the training of many young artists through the participation in Italian and international events. But the Teatro della Caduta is mostly a space, in via Buniva 24: a miniature theatre with an Italian style stage, a manual curtain, 45 seats and a 4x3 m. stage. The furniture is intimate and familiar, it evokes the atmosphere and taste of the beginning of the century’s Cabaret. The homonymous theatre company was born here, and beside the management of the theatre season, that is already 7 years old, has realised several productions – some ones are in cooperation with important institutions, such as Festival Torino Spiritualità, Festival Mirabilia di Fossano, Circolo dei Lettori di Torino. The theatre productions have been recognised and realised with the support of the Region of Piemonte and of the Sistema Teatro Torino.
The theatre company ranges from theatre monologues to street theatre, from musical projects to comic performances.
