Opened in 1863, set in via Magenta 3. It hosts the 800th and 900th permanent collections. After several displacements, the art collects had been recovered here from 1895, the building underwent some renovations before the renewed public opening in 1993. From 2003 its part of Fondazione Torino Musei.
The second floor hosts the 800th section, and the first floor the 900thoevres. The visitors can exploit the library, the video library, the cafeteria, and a bookshop. The permanent collection is structured in four thematic ways: thanks to the wise manage of the artistic patrimony, his innovative expositive archive and some historical collectors. You can find a lot of artist from 800th, like Fontanesi, Fattori, Pellizza da Volpedo e Medardo Rosso, from the 1900: Morandi, Casorati, Martini e De Pisis, Marx Ernst a Paul Klee e Picabia and an Art Brut collection, with oeuvres by Paolini, Boetti, Anselmo, Zorio, Penone and Pistoletto. The museum is always careful to contemporary art production, several temporary expositions are dedicated to the new artists.
