The city of Torino is ready to host the eighteenth edition of the most important festival in Europe dedicated to choral music. The festival is a fascinating adventure that takes place every three years since 1961 in a different city, involving people of all ages, all types of choirs, conductors and composers, internationally renowned guests. With the Torino edition for the first time Europa Cantat arrives in Italy. From 27th July to 5th August, the capital of Piemonte and the Region itself will be flooded by a party of voices, sounds, colours and different languages . Torino dwellers will also be invited to become enchanted with the enthusiasm and discover the magic of singing in a big choir. The programme, which includes more than 100 concerts and events, provides space for all kinds of music, from classical to pop, from jazz to folk, from gospel to crossover experiments.
