Atelier with performance!
The pleasure of singing is the aim of the atelier. Songs with movements, songs to sing sitting on chair…
Singing in several voices, singing with children an adults together, easy parts for those who don’t have much experience in choir singing, other parts for those who are used to sing.
The atelier will focus on traditional songs involving more voices and belonging to the area of Silas and the Marquis of Crotone (Calabria), love songs, fun songs, anger songs, and harvesting and for the dance (Tarantella), both on songs traditionally performed a cappella, and songs accompanied by live guitar battente, traditional percussions (friction drums, castanets) and traditional frame drums (tambourines and tammorra).
Do you wish to prove how your voice can become "larger" without increasing the effort?... Or to learn how to visualize your vocal organ for obtaining better results?
This and other interesting experiences will be offered you by this meeting.
A short history of tango and candombe, its "brother" from Uruguay, meeting musicians like Astor Piazzolla or Carlos Gardel. The workshop provides the opportunity to attend a special evening of dance and music on the same day.

The benedictinen abbey of Montserrat with its Escolania (Boys choir) has one of the oldest and richest choral tradition since 14th Century. We will discover the most important composers of its school, like Cererols, Soler, Sors, Segarra or Vivancos.
A taste of repertoire for male voices, under the guidance of an experienced director, for those who already sing in a men's choral group and for those who want to try for one day the excitement!
