Atelier with performance
The Altbachische Archiv is a collection of motets and cantatas of older members of the Bach family, between 1650 und 1700.
The collection was started by Johann A. Bach, father of Johann Sebastian, who took over the archive after his fathers´ death. After Johann Sebastian died, Carl Philipp Emanuel took the scores and completed them to the list of works that it is now. C.P.E. always mentioned the archive as a big family treasure!
The originals were lost during the second world war, but all original scores were found again in the National archive in Kiev, Ukrain in 2000.
You will experience the fundamentals of Psychophonie which aims to harmonise all levels of being through the vibration of breath and sound in order to explore, "re-learn" and express one’s own full vocal potential.
Bratsch, founded in 1972, is formed by French musicians, combining diverse jazz experiences with gypsy music and the traditions of East-Central Europe and the western Balkans. In this atelier some of their most beautiful songs are sung in new arrangements and played together.
