G12 Aleatoric Music
Concepts and examples of alea and vocal improvisation will be presented with vocal patterns that contain melodic and rhythmic basic elements, simple harmonic and melodic structure for 2-4 voices, the use of some sound parameters: frequencies range, dynamics, agogics, spatialization, density etc., construction of sound clusters and prisms; introductory exercises to the gestural-chironomics technique.
Pier Paolo Scattolin (IT)
He was born in Bologna; he is a composer and he works as choir and orchestra conductor. He has completed musical studies with Manzoni, Clementi, Grandi, Ferrara, Bellini e Gelmetti. He has been headmaster of the School of music in Mantua from 1986 till 1997.
