Aarne Saluveer (EE)

Is one of the most active estonian figures in the international music scene: producer, conductor and educator. He founded and conducts the Estonian TV Girls’ Choir. He is president of Estonian Choral Association and board member of IFCM, Estonian Music Council, Council of World Choir Games and Estonian Society for Music Education. He wals also board member of Europa Cantat from 2000 to 2009. Aarne has worked with M. Jackson, A. Pärt, V. Tormis, R. Panufnik, N. Järvi, E. Klas, P. Hillier, U. Sisask and many other well-known musicians. He performed at Lincoln Center in New York, Great Hall of Moscow Music House, St. Paul’s in London, National Auditorium in Madrid and Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg. He has been artistic musical director, performer and arranger of European Film Award Annual live-TV Gala Show 2010 and other very important events. Since 1993 he is the artistic director at Estonian Song Celebrations.
Aarne Saluveer have won awards and grand prix with Estonian TV Girls’ Choir and Children’s Choir (Tolosa, Gorizia, Arezzo, Arnhem, European Broadcast Union live-competition Let the Peoples Sing). In 2009 he won grand prix in Estonian Chamber Choir Competition conducting Tallinn University Chamber Choir. He has made presentations and lead workshops in Europe, Asia and America. He was awarded with lots of annual prizes from culture foundations. Aarne Saluveer was elected Musician of the Year 2007 by Estonian Public National Broadcasting and Conductor of the Year 2007 by Estonian Choral Association.
