She has followed musical performance and theatre-teacher education at the theatre-school in Amsterdam. For 12 years she performed on the professional stage in such musicals as Oliver, Anatevka, Singing in the rain and many more. During this same period she also taught musical theatre at the Theatre School Amsterdam and at several ballet schools and high schools in the area. In 1999 she joined Joop van den Ende Theatre Productions as Children`s director. She coached, directed and taught the children choreography in the musical productions Oliver, Sound of Music, The Lion King, Tarzan, Ciske de Musical and Mary Poppins. Together with Herma van Piekeren she gave workshops and classes for conductors, theatre teachers and children of all ages. In 2009 they lead their first atelier at the Festival Europa Cantat in Utrecht with 80 children from 8 different countries. As a vocalist, she performs regularly at exposition openings and on location theatre projects with De MeerMinnen, a close harmony vocal group.
