Maike Bühle (DE)

She graduated in music and Russian at the Universität der Künste in Berlin and participated as a violinist and singer in various ensembles and choirs. From 1999 to 2004 she has studied choir and orchestra conducting with C. Grube, K.U. Jirka e R. Sochaczewsky, completing her studies in 2011 at the Musikhochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin with J.P. Weigle (choir conducting) e M. Fabricius (orchestra conducting). She has participated in master classes with H. Rilling, W. Schäfer, K. Putnins e S. Cambreling.
She participated in the Eric Ericson Award and won the Special prize in the 4th International Competition of Young Choral Conductors in Budapest. In Berlin, she founded two vocal choirs (Chorikos e Vokalwerk Berlin),with whom she has made several concerts.
She has worked with many professional ensembles, as the Netherlands Chamber Choir, Netherlands Radio choir, Bavarian Radio choir, Hungarian Radio choir, Bach Collegium Stuttgart and Gächinger Kantorei. During her studies she worked as assistant for the musical director M. Fabricius at Technische Universität Berlin. Today she works as independent conductor with the Philharmonic choir in Berlin and the Konzerthaus in Berlino (“Open your ears”) and other choirs. Since 2011 she has been the artistic director of Neuer Chor Berlin.
