She began her musical studies at a young age, studying piano at the Conservatory N. Paganini of La Spezia. At fifteen she began her vocal studies and was subsequently admitted to the Civic School of Music in Milan, in the class of Gabriella Rossi. She graduated in 1988 at the conservatory A. Boito in Parma with honors and at the same time was completing piano studies under the guidance of Martha Del Vecchio.
She improved her studies in Italy and abroad, participating in the Master Classes of Petre Munteano, Julia Hamari and Dalton Baldwin, and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
She attended the course of Vocal Chamber Music at Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, under the guidance of Leonardo De Lisi, achieving the highest honors. In 1990 she joined the musical Maggio Choir in Florence as a stable artist.
She has participated as soloist in productions such as ’’Idomneo’’ by W.A.Mozart under the guidance of M° Mehta at La Pergola Theater in Florence, the oratorios ’’Paulus’’ and ’’Elias’’ F.M.Mendelssohn directed by M° Gian Andrea Gavazzeni at the Ravenna Festival, ’’Chichester Psalm’’ by Leonardo Bernstein directed by M° Daniel Oren and ’’Requiem fur Mignon’’ by R. Schumann under the guidance of M° Jeffrey Tate, ’’Die Schopfung’’ of F.J. Haydn directed by M° Rilling during the symphonic season of Maggio Musicale Of Fiorentino.
In April 2003 she recorded ’’Grande Messa in Do Minore’’ by Mozart with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Sanremo under the direction of M° Fabiano Monica.
She has participated as soloist in the role of Pantalis in Mefistofele of Arrigo Boito, conducted by M° Riccardo Muti at the Ravenna Festival and in Egypt, in the role of ’’Dinnerinnen’’ opera ’’Die Frau ohne Scatten’’ conducted by M° Zubin Mehta, and in the role of Slipky and Lesli Havet, opera ’’The cunning little Vixen’’ conducted by M° Seiji Ozawa.
