She was born in Vind, Denmark. She has a degree as music teacher from The Academy of Music in Aalborg. In 1998, she was accepted to the diploma education on choral conducting in Stockholm and moved to Sweden. June 2000 she gave her diploma concert. In 2005 - 2007 she lived in New York where she studied orchestra conducting and held workshops and seminars on music from Scandinavia.
She is the conductor and founder of the awarded vocal ensemble Voces Nordicae. In 2008 Voces Nordicae was selected Choir of the Year in Sweden by Concerts Sweden. In 2008 she was also selected Choral Conductor of the Year in Sweden. In 2008-2009 she was appointed choral master for The Eric Ericson Chamber Choir. Since 2011 she is the artistic director of Vokal Nord in Norway. She is lecturer in conducting at Sköndal Music College and she has been working at The Royal College of Music, The Music Gymnasium, Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm and at Aaron Copland School of Music in New York.
She has been teaching at workshops, choir singing and conducting courses in Europe and USA and worked with fine ensembles such as the Swedish Radio Choir, The Eric Ericsson Chamber Choir, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Kammarensemble, RAM and The Estonian National Male Choir.
