Director of Cantabile Limburg, he has quickly established himself as one of Europe’s dynamic and skilful choral conductors. He is especially known for his work with the award-winning men’s chorus Cantabile Limburg and the women’s chorus Carpe Diem.
He serves as a juror for numerous national and international choral competitions.
After University studies in both Music and German language and literature, he completed studies in the choral art with E. Ericson, V. Hempfling, and W. Schäfer. He is a member of the Federal Musical Committee of the Hessian Alliance of Singers and the Musical Advisory Committee of the German Centre for Choral Music, as well as of the Literature Committee of the National German Choral Competition.
In 2005 her led seminars in Kyoto and other cities in Japan while acting with Cantabile Limburg as the European representative to the World Choir Symposium in Kyoto. Since 2008 he is the artistic director of the State Youth Choir of Hessen.
